“ This is a very interesting place and in my opinion a must visit. You can feel the history of this place.. A dark character filled cellar on the back side and under a popular restaurant that once entertained people like Elvis Presley. Cozy and unique.. A solid variety of beers and liquor. This place is a hidden gem. Live music on some nights including an open Mike on Wednesdays. It's the kind of place you want to come sit for a while hangout, relax. and have good conversation. ”
“ One of the most wholesome bars I’ve ever been to with great service. Great if you're not in the mood to deal with large crowds. My wife is a big Elvis Presley fan and evidently this is a bar he frequented regular when in Mississippi. I met Bird (maybe spelled Byrd), who was bartending at the time, and we got some history and insight as to where Elvis sat, his favorite drink, etc. Best of all, it felt like I was at home speaking to the bartender at my regular go-to bar. If you’re ever in this area, check it out. As a bonus, it has a great view of the bayou! ”
